Joren Janssens

I'm affiliated to the research group Modernity and Society of the KU Leuven. My doctoral dissertation focuses on attitudes and practices of social support and civil complicity during the Guatemalan armed internal conflict (1960-1996). I'm founder of Semillas Diáspora Venezuela (Seeds of the Venezuelan Diaspora), an online participatory platform dedicated to preserving and dignifying the memory of Venezuelans abroad.
